Server Migration Successfully Completed – JDS Management Is Fully Online Again

Faster than planned: The server migration was completed in less than 20 hours

The planned JDS Management server migration has been successfully completed! 🎉

After the platform was taken fully offline on Friday, August 7, 2026, at around 6:30 PM, the migration was successfully completed on Saturday morning.

The entire server migration was therefore completed in less than 20 hours – significantly faster than the originally planned maintenance window until Monday morning.

All JDS Management apps are working again and JDS Management is fully accessible.

⚠️ Temporary longer loading times may occur

Following the successful migration, some users may temporarily experience longer loading times.

This is mainly caused by empty or newly rebuilt caches. Certain data needs to be loaded and cached again after the server migration.

This should improve automatically as the platform is used.

Longer loading times do not mean that the migration failed or that the platform is unavailable.

Friday, August 7, 2026

Approx. 4:30 PM – Domain introduced to the new server provider

The domain was initially connected to the new server environment.

Approx. 6:00 PM – Domain disconnected

The previous server environment was disconnected from the domain to prepare the actual migration.

Approx. 6:30 PM – JDS Management goes offline

JDS Management and its connected applications became temporarily unavailable.

Approx. 7:30 PM – Domain migration requested

The domain/DNS migration process was initiated.

Approx. 9:00 PM – Initial tests on the new server

The new server environment was tested extensively.

Saturday, August 8, 2026

Approx. 6:30 AM – DNS configured for the new server

The DNS configuration was updated to point the domain to the new infrastructure.

Approx. 6:45 AM – Latest JDS Management version deployed

The latest available JDS Management version was installed on the new server.

Approx. 7:00 AM – JDS Management accessible via HTTP

The platform became accessible again via HTTP.

Approx. 7:20 AM – SSL certificate created

A new SSL certificate was configured for secure HTTPS access.

Approx. 7:35 AM – SSL certificate online

Secure HTTPS access was successfully activated.

Approx. 8:00 AM – JDS Management and apps fully online

JDS Management was fully accessible again and the connected applications were operational.
